Revised pattern and syllabus of Revenue Audit Examination

About Revenue Audit Exam

Revenue Audit Examination is held for Assistant Audit Officers/ Sr. Audit Officers borne on the cadre of all branches of the Indian Audit & Accounts Department except Civil Accounts branch with SAS Examination. It is optional for the Assistant Audit Officers/ Sr. Audit Officers of these branches to appear in this examination. Eligibility criteria for appearing in Revenue Audit Examination: Sr. AOs, after having one year of continuous service in the Revenue Audit Branch as AAO/Sr. AO or after having prescribed training in the Revenue Audit; Departmental officials who are promoted as AAO are eligible to appear in Revenue Audit Examination after completion of one year of continuous service in Revenue Audit Branch; or have the prescribed training in Revenue Audit after completion of one year of continuous service as AAO.
